An Art Exhibition of Local Paintings by Joan Nicholson was opened yesterday by the Officers of Dooks Golf Club. The Exhibition will run until Sunday the 18th of July and all proceeds are being donated to the Kerry Hospice Foundation.

Noreen More Competition.

The Dooks Ladies Team played Castelgregory in the quarter finals on Thursday 24th June and had a very good win, Lady Captain Mary winning on the 13th with Deirdre Galvin and Aileen Curtayne winning their matches on the 15th hole. The other two matches were called in Ciara Sweeney and Adrienne O'Sullivan both were in very good positions. The Semi Final is in Beaufort G.C. on the 17th July. Congratulations to all concerend.

Golf trip to Fermanagh

The Captain, Mr Liam Crowley has put together a 3 night package of a golf trip to Fermanagh on the 14th, 15th & 16th of September, costing 165 stg per person sharing [3 nights b&b & 2 evening meals] Golf to be played in Enniskillen & Dungannon at a cost of 20 stg per round. Anyone who is interested in this trip please put your name on the list provided for in the Clubhouse.
